Iris gets the short stick. So, Ethan dispatches her to infiltrate a cross-border human-trafficking organization as a spy. In Iris’ fourth year, everyone has to draw lots again. With trembling fingers, Iris draws the short stick once again. Her mission is to arrest drug dealers overseas. In Iris’ sixth year, the lot-drawing session greets her once again like an unshakable curse.
